About the Journal
The Young Journal of European Affairs (YJEA) is a junior political science journal based in Munich, where students can publish academic papers on European Union policies from the very beginning of their academic career. The articles published in the journal cover a broad variety of topics related to the European Union. Research is mainly carried out in the following policy areas:
- European Public Policy
- European Integration
- European Foreign, Security and Defence Policy
- Political Economy
- Global Governance Perspectives on the EU
The journal was founded and is managed by the Co-Editors in Chief, Lara Breitmoser, M.A. (CEU) and Florian Lenner, M.Sc., M.Sc. (LSE and Leiden University). Angelo Krüger, M.A. (CEU) and Mirjam Seiler, M.Sc. (LSE) are the YJEA's managing editors and coordinate the work of the editorial board. The editorial board is completed by Valentin Berov (HU Berlin), Amy Bland, B.A. (University of Konstanz), Lennart Eckle, B.Sc. (University of Cologne), Nadia el Ghali, B.A. (University of Munich), Eleonora Guseletova, B.A. (Bocconi University), Lilia Gwaltney (CEU), Freya Moorhouse (LSE), Mercedes Vergara, B.Sc.
